Very expensive for what it is. It took us forever to find this hotel driving from Zurich airport as it is not on the Satnav even on the local one in the car.
Checking in was very easy. The room on the 2nd floor was a nice size but the beds were extremely hard and the bathroom was a real let down.
The shower cubicle is so small that a slight movement and you would hit the shower handle and switch it off. Turning it back on would mean cold shower for a bit.
They have no air conditioning or fans. It was extremely hot that week. If you opened the windows or patio door than there were all the mozzies to tackle.
They did not change the bedding all the time we were there. Really stingy with the shower gel and shampoo and no conditioner. Breakfast is good but the same every day.
Very good bread. They even lock the front door at 10pm. Date of stay: July Value. Sleep Quality. Room Tip: 2nd floor in the summer.

We have recently returned from a two week stay at the Hotel Ganter. We had a brilliant time. The hotel was spotless, the staff were very friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us to ensure we had a nice stay.
The food was plentiful and of good quality and there was lots of variety.. The location was idyllic and the hotel provided a free bus and train pass for the duration of our stay.
This enabled us to explore the local area as well as many of the attractions around Lake Constance. We would love to come back again and stay.

Spa does only include a sauna and steambath, which you have to call for in advance. Reception closes at or so. But they care for you in case you arrive late.
