Aside from a few comic set-pieces and routine romance, the focus is squarely on the dancing, which looks pretty impressive in 3D.

She appears and does the dance as planned. Ash and his crew finish, and are estatic to find they have won. Invincible's leader then hands the trophy to Ash.

As everyone celebrates, Ash and Eva share a kiss. The film received generally mixed reviews. StreetDance 2 received its first review on 10 February with Screen International chief film critic, Mark Adams, describing the dancing as "toe-tappingly cool" and stating that lead actress Sofia Boutella is "destined to be a big star".

Viewing the film as an "insult to Algerian traditions and ethics," some Algerian immigrants in France boycotted the film and a campaign was launched through social networking sites Twitter and Facebook to prevent the showing of the film in Algeria.

Beaten by his rival Invincible's hip-hop crew and ridiculed as 'Popcorn boy', Ash seeks revenge at the annual international street dance championship in Paris.

He travels trough Europe to gather an exceptionally talented crew. In Paris, he meets in her overprotective uncle-guardian Manu's bar and wants Latin dancer Eva.

They agree to attempt a fusion with hip-hop, introducing Latin pair dancing, and become lovers. A week before the tournament, Ash gets cold feet, all seems lost.

Written by KGF Vissers. This is a great film. Afterall it is just a film. The dancing is great, especially the Latin dance. The storyline is good. The acting and directing are good.

The locations good. I'm not sure what people are expecting from a dance film, but then again a lot of people are so negative they find fault with everything.

I found this film to be thoroughly entertaining and have watched it three times in the past week. I find it inspirational. The skill level of the dancers, esp, Latin dancers is phenomenal.

If you're not a negative person who likes to find fault with everything and you appreciate different art forms and aren't prejudiced, I believe you will find this very entertaining.
