It's an ugly mess that turns everyone into an annoying comedian, particularly Batman, who now talks like a corny dad. Its jokes are Marvel-lite, which is kind of like calling it diluted vomit instead of regular vomit.
Its serious scenes are impossible to take seriously. Lastly, its villain is one of the worst in any of these super hero movies, and he looks like a video game character from Millions in CGI, wasted.
The plot is bare bones, yet they can barely execute it without dozens of nonsensical contrivances. This is a terrible movie. I was disappointed in this movie, although not surprised with the DCEU.
It had a lot of potential but unfortunately fell well short. I enjoyed the humor and character development of Cyborg and the Flash, but everything else felt very forced.

Man of Steel was ok. Batman v Superman was one of the worst films that I have ever seen, Suicide Squad was fun but felt like a much longer film heavily edited down and I was disappointed by Wonder Woman.
So, my expectations were not especially high here. Maybe five stars is generous but I really enjoyed this one. The action sequences are great.
The characters are all really different, and there were just the right amount of them six so that they all got an introduction or re-introduction and a decent amount of screen time thereafter.
Again, not a spoiler as it's on the front cover but Superman is back and they way that is done was for me at least unexpected, handled really well and followed by an action sequence which I really liked.
The bad guy and his motive are quite standard but works perfectly fine as a means of getting the League together. I haven't seen Aquaman or Shazam!
